I’ve really only seen Joan Crawford and Bette Davis in one film each. Joan Crawford in Johnny Guitar, and Bette Davis in The Petrified Forest. Based on these performances, I had to side with Joan Crawford. Joan Crawford. Joan’s performance in Johnny Guitar is fantastic, and she has one of the most powerful screen presences of all time. I would be scared not to choose her.
